Lynda Hoeksema is ANCC board certified in both Nursing Informatics and as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP). She has over 6 years of clinical informatics experience as Clinical Transformation Manager and Senior Health Informatics Specialist at Spectrum Health in Grand Rapids, MI (a 31,000 employee, 14 hospital, 230 ambulatory site integrated health delivery network). Prior to that she practiced clinically as an NP since 1996 in both ambulatory and hospital environments across 3 different health systems, and was adjunct faculty at two universities. Lynda is also currently a DNP student at The Ohio State University focusing on informatics evidence implementation in health systems. She is an alumni of the  Johns Hopkins University post-master’s  “Applied Healthcare Informatics” graduate certificate program thanks to the assistance of an ONC scholarship in 2013.
