Description

NLP technology in clinical research has evolved rapidly. However, there are key gaps in common NLP tools and methods, such as: inconsistent execution across sites, lack of standards around NLP-based phenotypes, lack of integration with structured data sets, and lack of standard validation models. The ClarityNLP platform is designed to address these gaps and to enable rapid, portable NLP-based phenotyping across diverse sites and data sets.

Describe the new knowledge and additional skills the participant will gain after attending your presentation.: Attendees will be introduced to ClarityNLP, an open-source, interoperable clinical NLP platform. In addition, attendees will see a demonstration of ClarityNLP and understand how it can be used to extract features for clinical quality and research objectives.
