Description
In this study we researched using Natural Language Processing (NLP) and machine learning techniques to build a clinical support system geared toward diagnosing and managing diabetes. The NLP tool (1) semantically process research publications (PubMed, curated social/electronic media); (2) using bibliometric and co-citation indexes (e.g., h-index), identifies reputed research and diagnostic methods for diabetes, and generates semantically similar papers from our data set (PubMed and social/electronic media publications)
