I am a pediatrician who loves both infectious diseases and medical informatics. I performed my clinical training at the Keck School of Medicine at USC, then St. Louis Children’s Hospital for residency and finally the University of California San Diego/Rady Children’s Hospital where I completed both infectious diseases and clinical informatics fellowships. My primary area of research interest is using clinical decision support to improve clinical care and patient safety, but I’m also intrigued by natural language processing and in improving the quality and process of medical documentation by providers. Always interested in new and interesting applications of informatics to pediatric care!
