Description

Health care providers have shown interest in the use of mobile health data for expanded monitoring of patient conditions and beneficial activities such as physical exercise. In this presentation we will discuss the bridging of two standards, Open mHealth and FHIR, and a reference application that enables incorporating mobile health data from a diverse set of personal devices into EHRs at the point of care.

Describe the new knowledge and additional skills the participant will gain after attending your presentation.: Following this session, attendees will understand how to develop applications that retrieve sensor data from a diverse set of devices and utilize these data in a FHIR-based application.
