Description

Focus groups from the Texas Medical Center, largest medical complex in the world, revealed demand for terminal, executive health informatics education. The doctorate in health informatics (DHI) program aims to provide executive informatics leaders with the terminal education required to translate evidence from research, evaluate practices, and utilize critical thinking to accelerate best practice adoption using technology to improve clinical outcomes. This ignite talk will introduce the structure and content for the practice doctorate in health informatics.

2. Explain the structure and general content for the first approved DHI program.
