Description
This study describes the clinical impact of cardiac rehabilitation interventions in terms of glycemic control, hemoglobin A1C, and hospital readmission rates of cardiac patients with type 2 diabetes across participation and adherence levels. The design is a 5-year retrospective case-control evaluation of electronic health records of patients with cardiac disease and diabetes at the Augusta Health Cardiac Rehabilitation Program between 2011 and 2014.
