We believe that the electronic medication documentation data in electronic health records from nurses is a potential source of signals for analytics. However, there exists a lack of research that investigates these specific data sets in a rigorous manner. This study applies an evidence-based data quality framework to nurses’ medication administration data to assess the quality for reuse in future analytics.
