Description

The purpose of this study is to use gamification, competition, and asynchronous mobile learning to improve the rates of HPV vaccination within a primary care pediatric practice network. Nine practices signed up participants to complete a learning module and competed to see which practices could improve their HPV rates the most. Preliminary analysis demonstrates that participation in the HPV Vaccine Challenge is correlated with an increase in the rates of HPV vaccination.

Describe the new knowledge and additional skills the participant will gain after attending your presentation.: Understand the burden of HPV in the population
Describe the differential between vaccination rates of HPV and other adolescent vaccines
Explain the function of gamification for promoting change
Elucidate how using asynchronous mobile learning can be used for quality improvement
