Description
Data from US and international institutions are routinely collected for the purpose of providing real-world evidence. Question remains as to how RWE can be generated from data collected directly from EHR systems. Proprietary datasets, non-standard order sets, and limited classification codes pose challenges in producing quality curated RWE data. With a home-grown learning health system and terminology mapping tool, we followed an iterative process of learning for data curation.
