Description
Depending on the setting where care is given, data needs vary. This pilot study uses a cross-sectional survey to investigate data needs in the inpatient, outpatient, and emergency room settings, and finds significant differences. A dashboarding approach would benefit from awareness of the setting in which care is being given.
Describe the new knowledge and additional skills the participant will gain after attending your presentation.: The participant will become aware that data needs vary not only by condition, but also by setting for the same condition, and that more research is needed in this area. Some information about specific data needs for asthma in different settings is also revealed.
