Description

The increasing volume of data in EHRs creates an information overload problem for clinicians, requiring time to find the data during patient care. Furthermore, not all of the relevant data may be used in decision-making. We have developed an automatic approach, based on data mining, to create context-relevant views that bring data for a context of care into one view. The views can be integrated into EHRs using the SMART-on-FHIR standards.

Describe the new knowledge and additional skills the participant will gain after attending your presentation.: Attendees will be able to understand the importance of views of EHRs for specific contexts to help address the usability challenges. They will understand how such views can be created automatically using a large knowledgebase.
